We believe that no one should go to bed hungry, and through this project, we strive to make that a reality. Our dedicated team, alongside generous supporters, works tirelessly to provide essential food resources to those in need. Beyond addressing hunger, we aim to foster a sense of community and care. Together, we’re not only filling empty stomachs but also hearts with warmth and belonging. Join us in this mission to combat food insecurity and spread love one meal at a time.

Member applications are increasing, and we are dealing with more referrals from external agencies.

We are also signposting and referring to other support services; to date these include: Torbay Domestic Violence Advice Service, Citizens Advice Bureau, the Illegal Money Lending Team, School Pastoral Care and Torbay Community Helpline.

The Social Supermarket is currently working in the following areas:

Monday 10am-12pm: Brixham Rugby Club, Brixham

Monday 1pm-3pm: Church 180, Paignton

Tuesday 10am-12pm: Church 180, Paignton

Wednesday 10am-11am: All Saints, Torre

Wednesday 1pm-2pm: St Andrew’s Methodist Church, Torquay

Thursday 3pm-5pm: Bay church, Paignton

Friday 10am-12pm: Collaton St Mary, Paignton
